Message from the Founder
Starting in 2016, Project: Renewability was created to take advantage of the electricity deregulation movement in the state of Maryland. The goal was to create spread the benefit of low-cost renewable energy something that bridged the gap between environmentalism and capitalism. Unfortunately, not enough businesses make doing good a part of their business model; I wanted to change that.

The Approach
In today's discussions, the term "sustainability" carries significant political and philosophical significance. However, its complexity often leads to simplifications such as neighborhood recycling, driving a Tesla, or reducing carbon footprint. At Renewability LLC, we have a focused approach that targets the intersection of environmental and societal issues through effective business models. Many companies aiming for sustainability objectives often fall short because they view environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals as mere expenses or marketing assets, rather than integral to revenue generation. By understanding how revenue is generated when the mission is embraced, firms can better address environmental and social challenges. The key lies in creating or reevaluating business models and financial instruments that actively solve such problems.
